There is no need for us to take anyone away from their home after death.

One of the first things we like to do is wash and dress the person. This can be done together with us directing you or we can wash and dress them ourselves.

After bodycare – the process of washing and dressing; we can leave a person in their own bed or transfer them to a casket for their stay at home. For natural care this requires us to visit daily to care for the person.

Our own first choice for body care is not to embalm, although there are times when it is necessary, though it is not a legal requirement. We use ice and a cool room when we don’t embalm.

We will need you to choose clothing for the person and to decide about jewellery and other personal items.
